I always bag and tag important bolts and pieces, like what is used on the head. I number each baggie with the rockers and lash adjusters for camshaft side (exhaust or intake) and cylinder number to keep the cam lobes from wearing unevenly. And then I coat the hell out of the metal cam tower gaskets with copper spray to prevent oil seepage.
